Loaded Nachos with Alexandra's Pikliz

Yields: 4-6 servings Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:

• For the nachos:
  • 1 pound tortilla chips
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Alexandra's Pikliz

Instructions:

1. Make the nachos:
   • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
   • Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
   • Bake for 5 minutes, or until the chips are lightly browned.
   • Remove from oven and let cool.
   • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey.
   • Drain off any excess fat.
   • Stir in the onions, green onions, cilantro, salsa, and sour cream.
   • Spread the beef mixture over the tortilla chips.
   • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
   • Bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
   • Remove from oven and let cool.
   • Top with Alexandra's Pikliz.

Tips:

• You can use any type of tortilla chips you like for this recipe.
• If you don't have ground beef or turkey, you can use shredded chicken or pork instead.
• You can also add other toppings to your nachos, such as olives, jalapenos, or guacamole.
