French Toast with Bacon served with Alexandra’s Pikliz Infused Hot Honey
Ingredient
3-4 slices of stale bread
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tsp grounded cinnamon
2 tbsp butter
6-8 pieces of bacon, crisped
fresh fruits
Steps
In a deep dish, whisk together egg, milk, and cinnamon.
Dip the bread into egg mixture until fully covered. Soak for 3-4 hours or overnight.
In skillet, melt butter, and cook bread on medium heat until browning on both side.
Stack the toasts and enjoy with Alexandra’s Hot Honey Pikliz!
Serve with crisped bacon and fresh fruit for a complete brunch experience!
Turkey Sandwich with Alexandra’s Pikliz
Ingredients (makes 2 sandwiches)
4 slices of bread
250g sliced turkey breast deli meats
1/2 heirloom tomato
1/2 cucumber
few leaves of iceberg lettuce
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp mayonnaise
4 tbsp Alexandra’s Pikliz
Steps
Butter your bread pieces and toast in a pan or a toaster
Layer with turkey breast deli meats, sliced heirloom tomato slices, and cucumber slices
add iceberg lettuce
Mix together mayonnaise with Alexandra’s Pikliz
Spread evenly on the top, and finish off with another piece of buttered and toasted bread.
